The robot from the old TV series Lost in space. It is an 1/24 scale kit from Moebius Models.

| I found this kit at a model show in Norway and when I saw it I wanted to build one for my niece who is a robot fan. |

I decided to make longer arms for it using an 1/35 ammo container and adding thin plastic strips to it. The arms had a coat of thinned Tamiya putty brushed over them to smooth the edges. The result was new arms almost twice as long as the ones supplied in the kit. So, three days of relaxed building and it was ready to be handed over to my niece. |
