Another kit that I could build in Swedish colours.

This one has a Swedish connection as we had a Swedish astronaut in one of the space shuttles.

| It is hard to believe that the SR-71 could be made as an egg plane. |
I thought that converting a SR-71 into a YF-12 was a brilliant idea. I started by changing the nose.

| I then moved the trailing edge of the wing back and added fins under the tail. |

But when I came to the painting stage I realised that the idea wasn't so bright as I thought. The YF-12 paint scheme didn't work on an egg. |
| I tried to modify the scheme, so I wouldn't have to throw it away. |
| Not perfect but I can live with that. |
