A Bugatti 35B "Glue Bomb"

I waas down in the basement looking for parts for a project when I found an old car wreck. Lots of old tube glue = parts that come loose so I decided to fix it a little.
(Model repaired 2015)

There are now new decals for this kit so I'm getting a little tempted to try to get a another kit.

It's quite detailed for such an old model. It was released in 1966.

I built it sometime in the 70s so I haven't seen how it was constructed since then so now I almost want to build it "open" even though I always build my models with all the doors closed.

But first this express repair has to be finished. Just saw that a spoke is broken on one of the wheels.

The bonnet is glued on so it's almost ready to be painted. No paint to strip, thank goodness. The only thing I had painted back then was the steering wheel and the seat.

Blue with a new spoke in place. There is hope for the old wreck.

But there are many parts that have disappeared for both the front and rear wheel suspension.

Plus a few other things but I'll probably keep an eye out for a new kit.
