| I wanted to add Zimmerit to some tanks but didn't want to use resin sheets so I made my own as this on the Esci Elefant . |
| For the tool I used the side of a CD-box to make the pattern, usually the cd-singles has a thinner box with a finer pattern than on the boxes from the albums. I use Miliput for the zimmerit. I usually dip the tool in water before pressing it in the Miliput. It also helps if one let the Miliput harden for a couple of minutes after applying it to the tank before using the tool. |

Waffle pattern tool was made by scribing a piece of aluminum and attaching it to a small handle. A bit course, but I couldnt make the tool smaller |
