| When I got a box of spare parts and slightly started kits from a modelling friend I found an Italeri C-47 Skytrain among the stuff. |

| It didn't have any decals so I wasn't sure what to do with it initially. |
| When I saw an article about the XCG-17 it became obvious what I had to do. |
| My Easter decoration's once again came in use. The bottom of some small plastic eggs had the right size for the domes that replaced the engines. |
| Then I had to scratch the attachment for the towing cable under the wing. A mix of spare decals finished it. |
